World Heritage Sites
It has been a huge privilege to not only visit a large
number of World Heritage Sites, but also to have had
the opportunity to work on several of the key British
sites and emerging sites. This selection of photographs
is a mixture of pseudo-iconic views and random jottings
One of the most dramatic for scale and location of World Heritage
Sites is Leptis Magna on the northern coast of Libya. Birthplace
of the Roman Emperor Septimius Severus it was expanded and
developed by him, developing the site from its Phoenician beginnings
as a trading centre into an imposing city (1982)
