World Heritage Sites
It has been a huge privilege to not only visit a large
number of World Heritage Sites, but also to have had
the opportunity to work on several of the key British
sites and emerging sites. This selection of photographs
is a mixture of pseudo-iconic views and random jottings
The vast scale of the ancient city of Chan Chan, now called an
archaeological zone, is hard to fathom. Nine repeating layouts
on a large and ceremonial scale have been identified, requiring
constant maintenance to keep the earth walls and features in a
shape that continues to evoke its history (1986)
