The reasons for taking any photograph are many and
various and sometimes something about a photograph
can make it one of the photographer's favourites.
Many times it is the memories associated, but occasionally
it can be because something has happened with the
photograph since then
A magical thing to be given the opportunity, whether it works
or not, as a photographer or person who takes photographs,
is to have a 'play'. This photograph was taken on one of those
days. Acting as health and safety support in the woods, while
waiting for the survey to be done, there was the time and
the opportunity to turn the experience into muddy boots washed
in puddles making waves and ripples and looking at light and
where to focus for any picture to have meaning
