The reasons for taking any photograph are many and
various and sometimes something about a photograph
can make it one of the photographer's favourites.
Many times it is the memories associated, but occasionally
it can be because something has happened with the
photograph since then
One of many memorials to the incredible Raoul Wallenburg,
Swedish architect and diplomat who saved up to 100,000
Jews in Hungary in the Second World War. The juxtaposition
of the bicycle wheel with the powerful text on the memorial
in Stockholm was intriguing
