Public Open Space

Landscape architects and garden designers work on similar
projects , although there can be considerable blurring.
The simplistic view is that garden designers work primarily
on spaces that are private, whereas landscape
architects tend to work on places and spaces viewed

Porto

The Jardim da Cordoaria in Porto, Portugal has a magnificent
avenue of plane trees, many of which are moss encrusted.

Thirteen Laughing at Each Other, presented to the city in the
year of the artist's death, 2001. This whole park area is used
in the ways that public space is best at, mingling walkway
with stopping space
