A339 Quarry development

This development is to develop and operate an industrial waste recycling facility and transfer loading station.

The increase of lorries (estimate is 100 lorries coming and going a day)/traffic on the A339 and surrounding roads to access this site will have impact on us all. As well as the noise implications etc in this area of outstanding natural beauty.

Ecchinswell Oak Golf Society

Players and would-be players are invited to join a fairly informal group, with a view to participating in matches, possibly tournaments and social occasions centred, in the first instance, on Sandford Springs Golf Club in Kingsclere (and, of course, the Royal Oak in Ecchinswell) with awaydays to other courses already planned.

Golfing expertise is not a requirement; rabbits will be welcomed and encouraged; sharks will be shown due honour but prevailed upon to tolerate and help virgins and the eternally over-optimistic in a neighbourly spirit.
