Village Hall

The Village Hall is available for clubs, weddings, parties or whatever on a first come/first served basis to all comers... but villagers, of course, come first – and cheaper!

It has a quota of licences, in conjunction with the Royal Oak and can be open from 9am-midnight (later by arrangement). You can bring your own drink and use the kitchen facilities for bring-your-own catering. Tell us if you’d like the hall heated in advance. There is parking for several dozen cars, please ask about further parking when making a booking.

The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need for a party of 120 people.

Main Hall dimension 10.5M x 16.5M

16 and 13 amp External power is now available for Bouncy Castles, marquees etc. For use on the Field.

The Post Code for the Village Hall is RG20 4UB

The Pitches

The Hall has two full size football pitches that, in the summer, become one commodious cricket pitch in a classic English village setting. The pitches are available for hire – and not just for football or cricket.

All the grounds are looked after by volunteers (more welcome) but regular teams are encouraged to muck in with grass rolling and general repairs.

There are goalposts, nets etc. included with the hire and use of the purpose-built changing rooms with showers available. Users are welcome, too, to use the hall and the verandah with views of all the action and facilities for the tea/sandwich makers.

The Playground

And, of course, there’s the kiddies playground for bored (2-12 year old!) supporters – always open to Ecchinswell children and their guests.

Proposed All Weather Pitch.

The village Hall have decided to withdraw the current planning application, and will resubmit an amended application following the appropiate consultation with residents that may be impacted by the proposal.
