Jersey Lichens
This project lasted for several years, covering
research, photography and book design services.
The book The Lichens of Jersey was published in 2015 and is
available through www.tiliapublishinguk.co.uk.
Jersey is a beautiful island and it has been a
genuine pleasure to have been involved in this work
Jersey is an island with a complex mix of geology and this
is particularly evident on the northern coastal rock exposures
where there are granites and igneous intrusions. This image
is to be used as the cover for the book and was taken
at Grosnez Point just next to the small lighthouse overlooking
inlets that exploit weakness in the rock
