Lovingly restored to its former glory, with the addition of a converted former grenier (grain store) on the first floor, La Petite Maison can accommodate up to six guests in comfort.

The cottage boasts a wealth of original features. The original stone floors sit under beautiful exposed beams. Arrowslit and bulls eye windows provide quirky natural light throughout the ground floor. With an enormous fireplace and ancient potager (cooking area), the cottage is rich in both history and character.

Ground floor

Kitchen A brand new kitchen offers all modern conveniences, including a breakfast table and chairs, fridge/freezer, oven and dishwasher. Please note there is no washing machine, however, the owners are happy to provide use of one if required.

Dining/Living room an enormous (working) fireplace dominates this room, which has a dining area with table and chairs, a large coffee table and two large sofas and an armchair. Entertainment is provided for by a flat screen display for DVD and video viewing. The DVD player also plays audio CDs and both the DVD and VCR are connected to a HiFi unit so that you can enjoy high quality audio.

First floor

Two double bedrooms Each bedroom has a new king size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and stripped wooden floors. There is a private terrace acessible from one of the bedrooms. There is also room for cots for younger families.

Bathroom Brand new and has been finished with quality fittings, full-length bath, Grohe shower and part exposed stone walls are complemented with glass tiles.

Rest in the cool plaster and stonework confines of the gîte’s two double bedrooms.

Relax on the balcony that overlooks the garden.

Additional accommodation
An additional adjoining double bedroom can be made available allowing a larger group to share the accommodation, this is charged at £100 extra per week.
