We have finished our 2014 programme and look forward to welcoming you here in 2015.

Immerse yourself in the rich British culture and language in the exciting seaside city of Brighton, "London by the sea", on the south coast of England.

Come behind the scenes and have experiences unlike other "tourists" !

We, Peter and Deborah Kalinke, will personally take care of you, and be both your guides in the lessons and on the trips.

Join a small group of adults with a maximum of 12.

£599 for one week, which includes all activities, fun English lessons, excursions and all meals plus great accommodation with one of our welcoming hosts.

Each day we spend some time in the new Garden House for "lessons", discussions, chats, feedback and hands-on activities.   Our teaching room is located in a wonderful, organic garden with flowers, fresh herbs, vegetables and chickens, and it is in the centre of Brighton!

A typical week may include:  the atmosphere of an auction plus browsing round great second-hand and antique shops in Lewes; tasting English wine in a local vineyard;  getting ideas for sustainable living - keeping chickens, growing your own vegetables, recycling and composting; shopping, collecting vegetables and eggs from the garden and preparing a delicious meal together using Jamie Oliver recipes; a visit to a historic English garden and walking and talking in breathtaking countryside.............plus pubs, picnics and cream teas.     All the time speaking English !

Saturday is free to explore Brighton at Festival time - the beach, the pier, the markets, the city centre, the Royal Pavilion.....or visit London - it's only one hour away.
