Where there is more to the story than the picture....or sometimes
where there ought to be more to the story than there is...
Tundra is a vulnerable habitat, with short and harsh growing
conditions on poor soils contributing to the risks from erosion
if too many human feet trample over it. Cruise ships bring a
chance to spread the word and a valuable education of the outposts
of the world but each individual with an urge to explore unthinkingly
becomes a crowd and managing this conundrum is complicated
