Buildings
There are some highly inspirational buildings around the world
and some 'around the corner'. Some have significant historic
events attached to them, others have just been there for a
bit minding their own business
Another very distinctive new building made of chrome and
glass is the Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Centre in Reykjavik,
Iceland. Designed by the Danish Henning Larsen Architects and
the Icelandic Batteríið Architects and opened in 2011, the play of
light on the surface is rippling. There is a great deal for the
window cleaners to do
