MEDITERRANEAN DIET:

They wisely chose the wild products that were best suited to their health and nutrition and they "domesticated" these products so they could cultivate them fruitfully. In this way, they fully covered the needs of their bodies for all the nutritional ingredients that are essential to life on earth. Over the course of thousands of years, they developed production and processing systems as well as ways of preserving food products that were best suited to maintaining the health and efficiency of these populations.
