New Building

   

We are in the early stages of planning a re-build of our facilities. This is a challenging vision, financially and in other ways, but once completed will enable us to be even more effective in our service to God and the local community. We will keep our site updated with developments as they progress.

Micah 2010

Micah 2010 is a special campaign to focus on our promise to the poor, ten years after nations around the world committed to halve global poverty by 2015.

God's heart has always been for the poor. Now the world has taken up the challenge.

It's simple to take part at your church or at a larger community event. Don’t miss the chance to be a prophetic voice with the poor.

A Real Alternative to Halloween

Many people see Halloween as a negative influence in our society and parents are looking for a positive alternative to trick or treating and scary costumes.

Here's why:
  • Walking the streets at dusk isn't safe
  • Expecting rewards on demand is not appropriate behaviour
  • We don't like the thought of our children emulating monsters, witches, Dracula and other evil characters
  • It tends to generate animosity within communities
  • The monster masks are scary to small children
  • Being expected to supply treats distresses some people
  • It doesn't consider the negative consequences of thinking evil is fun.
The answer is - a positive alternative. A Light Party®.
