Investing in personnel
Behind any successful and dynamic organisation is a dedicated and hard-working team. Community Options is what the staff have made it and we believe that we should repay such loyalty by striving to be a best practice employer. We believe that continual development should be at the heart of all care organisations.
We are accredited to the Investors in People standard and, in 2002, won the prestigious Best of Business Award for our commitment to staff training and development. In 2006, we were recognized at the London Excellence Wards for People Involvement in Development.
So what do we do?
We employ 117 staff, and whilst we recognise that they are employed for their core skills, we also know that supplementary training will be required for them to carry out their roles to full potential.
Examples of the organisation’s and the staff’s commitment to training and continuing professional development is accreditation to the Investors in People standard and Investors in Excellence. Alongside an award in 2006 for People Involvement and Development.
