Please ensure that your CV is clear and concise, we would recommend that CV’s are no longer than three pages, except in circumstances where an applicant is extremely qualified.
Your letter is important and should lend personality to your file. You will be selected for a job based on the strength of your file so it is important that you take the time to ‘sell’ yourself to potential employers. If you do not have any previous experience in the hospitality industry, we need to know why you are seeking work in the sector and how your skills relate to the industry e.g. strong customer service skills, previous team work experience, a willingness to multi task.
Please do not send certificates that bear no direct relevance to the hospitality industry. Whilst it is important to include information relating to these qualifications in the appropriate section of your CV, we do not need you to include the supporting paperwork in your file.
Copies of Certificates relating to the hospitality industry should be included in your file as employers will be interested in seeing them.
We require TWO written references from previous employers. If you do not have two references please provide one reference from a previous employer and one character reference. We cannot legally place applicants without TWO written references.
PLEASE NOTE: We will not accept the name and addresses of referees. You need to contact your previous / current employer and ask them to provide a written statement on company headed paper as testament to your period of employment.
We need to know that all applicants coming to the UK have a clean bill of health. You will need to be mentally and physically fit to work. You will need to go to your doctor and ask for a medical certificate.
Please ensure you include the passport page that contains your photograph and Visa if applicable.
This applies to applicants traveling from South Africa only.
