The PPORA Young Horse Awards, for the best 5,6 and 7-year old point-to-pointers in Great Britain are again sponsored by Weatherbys Chase .

The National Champion will receive £1,000 plus a Trophy value £350, and each of the Champions in the other 13 areas will receive a trophy value £250. All award winners will also receive two tickets to the PPORA Awards Luncheon, where they will be presented with their prizes together with two badges for racing that evening.

The point system for the Awards allocates the first, second and third horses home in Open races, 10, 6 and 3 points respectively, and in all other races' 8, 4 and 2 points respectively. In the event of a tie, the Award will be made to the horse with the most wins, Open races taking precedence. If there is still a tie, the Award will be divided. Points can be accrued in any Area, the qualifying hunt of the Owners' determining for which area award the owner is eligible.
