The PPORA arranges and promotes several Point-to-Point races on behalf of various sponsors. The Association also organises riders seminars, and provides riders with advice. Two newsletters are published each year, and the Annual Awards Lunch is held at Stratford Racecourse in May.

Membership benefits also include discounts on racing equipment and clothing, as well as insurance and selected publications. Members also receive a discount on membership of the national point to point website.
