We are a friendly and welcoming church with people from several nations and are always pleased to welcome new visitors, so that all can meet with God in a relaxed atmosphere and hear what He has to say.

We are an Elim Pentecostal Church, part of a church movement that has over 500 congregations throughout the towns and cities in the UK as well as churches in forty countries around the world.

  • Our vision is to bring the reality of God’s work, love and power to the people of our community. By what we say, what we do and who we are, we want to reflect the God who wants to be known to all.

Matthew 22:37-40

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment.

39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Elim is the name of an oasis that is mentioned in the Bible (Exodus 15:27 - "Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees"). It described a place of refreshment and shelter in the wilderness. We recognise that life can sometimes become a wilderness in this day and age too. We aim for our churches to be an oasis in the 21st Century.
