Parsons Son & Basley was established in 1825 and is one of the oldest independent firms of Chartered Surveyors, Valuers, Auctioneers and Estate Agents in Sussex. Our Head Office is located in the city centre of Brighton on the south coast of England. We also have offices in Hove, Bognor Regis and Hastings, covering the whole of East and West Sussex and surrounding counties.

We offer a full range of professional property services including residential and commercial sales/lettings; mortgage valuations for both residential and commercial property; valuations for company accounts, taxation and probate purposes; valuations under the Leasehold Reform Acts; Home Buyers reports and building surveys; residential and commercial property management; commercial Landlord and Tenant expertise in rent reviews and lease renewals, facilities management; and property insurance. We also hold regular auctions selling both residential and commercial property.

The firm is owned by three Chartered Surveyor Partners and has 12 Associate Partners. We are members of RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), ARLA (Association of Residential Letting Agents), ARMA (Association of Residential Managing Agents) and TEAM (an association of independent estate agents).
