Introduction
Close on a century ago this business was founded by Charles Lancaster, who was the most expert barrel maker of his day. Because of this, and in view of the excellent workmanship of every weapon he manufactured, a successful clientele amongst the foremost sportsmen was soon established. Over and over again letters of appreciation have been received, telling the same story of reliability.

Without doubt, the most necessary requirement in any weapon is reliability - reliability in every detail - and it is on this characteristic that the house of Lancaster, for long known as “the Gun House”, has built and maintained its reputation.

Just recently it has been found necessary to transfer the business to more convenient premises where all the old traditions of the firm, coupled with a more complete and efficient service, will be continued.
