Ideas for fundraising eventsBillyBonecrusherDunne1

Perhaps not everyone’s idea of raising money would be to arrange a Thai Boxing fight night and compete yourself, but this was just what a grateful ‘past guest’ of the
Hearing Concern LINK Intensive Programme, ‘Bonecrusher’ Billy Dunne did to show his gratitude and to help people like himself.

Whilst we’re not asking anyone to ‘go a few rounds’ with Billy, we are always looking for new fundraising ideas and welcome suggestions and offers of help from anyone wishing to help us raise funds for Hearing Concern LINK.

Here are some of the things people have done to raise money for us:

• Volunteer Janet Sanderson organised a nationwide sponsored slim

• Jenny Knight raised over £2000 with her walk in ‘1066 Country’ last year.

• Sarah Skelly raised £1000 for us with her sponsored parachute jump.

• Stewart Weston, Gemma Kilbey, Eleanor Franks, Lloyds Evan,
Victor Zasadzki and Aaron Robinson all ran in the 2008 London Marathon.

Lucy McNee from Scotland raised over £2000 from her cycle ride from John O’Groats to Land’s End.

Whatever your fundraising idea might be, we welcome anyone who would like to help.
