Scotland > Edinburgh Office Our office in Edinburgh was set up in 2005. Since then, we’ve run Intensive Programmes, self-management courses for people who are keen to learn more about communication and how to handle deafness. We can also put you in touch with specially trained Outreach Volunteers who can talk to you about deafness and give you useful information about how to cope and where to get help. Our team consists of both deafened volunteers and their partners, as we understand deafness doesn’t just affect the deafened person alone. Our future plans might include the setting up of communication classes and/or providing a counselling service. We’d like to hear your views – are there other services that you’d like us to provide ?
